This team will be traveling to the Dominican Republic to work with Mission of Hope. Mission of Hope’s Vision Statement is “As an organization following Jesus Christ, Mission of Hope exists to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child.” We will be staying on their campus in the DR and working in the local communities during the week. The campus is fully enclosed with security guards for added safety. MOH also has medical staff on the ground in case we have needs that arise. What will be doing? Some of that will depend on the makeup of our team…what our skillsets, giftings, and passions are. Typically though, in the summer many teams are able to take part in VBS and Sports camps since children in the communities are out of school. Other projects could include painting houses, bible/ food distribution, and door-to-door relational evangelism.
